Keeping Orpington Tidy
Keeping our local area clean, tidy and welcoming benefits everyone. Clean streets, parks and public spaces help create pride in our communities and make Orpington a better place to live, work and visit.
The Reform UK Bromley Branch – Keep Bromley Tidy Programme is about doing more than simply talking about local problems. Reform UK members are volunteering their own time to get out into our communities, tackle litter and help improve the places where we live.
Members will be taking part in regular litter picks and clean-up activities across the London Borough of Bromley, including here in Orpington.
The programme was introduced to the branch and put into action by Bromley Branch Vice-Chair Lou Bartholomew, helping turn a simple idea into a practical community initiative.
Taking Action in Orpington
We want Orpington to be somewhere residents can take pride in.
Over the coming months, Reform UK Orpington members and volunteers will be getting out into the constituency to help clean up our streets and public spaces.
As our local litter picks take place, we’ll update this page with photos, locations and details of the work carried out.
We believe community politics should involve more than appearing when there’s an election around the corner. Sometimes making a difference is as straightforward as getting together, rolling up your sleeves and doing something useful.
If you’d like to take part in a future litter pick or other community activity, we’d be delighted to have you involved.
Working for change. Working for Orpington.
