Our Councillors
Reform UK has three elected councillors within the Orpington constituency.
Cllr Christopher Marlow, Cllr Dean Miller and Cllr William Rawles were elected to represent St Paul’s Cray in May 2026.
Together, they are working to provide strong local representation and focus on the everyday issues that matter to residents — from roads, schools and local services to protecting the Green Belt and looking after valued community spaces including Hoblingwell Wood, the recreation ground and the River Cray.
Residents are encouraged to contact their councillors with local concerns, ideas or issues where they may be able to help.

Being elected is only the beginning. Our councillors are working with residents, community groups and Bromley Council to raise local concerns, resolve problems and ensure St Paul’s Cray has a strong voice.
We’ll use this page to highlight some of that work and keep residents updated on issues affecting the ward.
Cotmandene Crescent Recycling Area
Residents raised concerns about overflowing recycling bins on Cotmandene Crescent, which were attracting vermin and leaving the area in a poor condition.
After the issue was brought to the attention of our St Paul’s Cray councillors, they contacted the relevant council departments and the problem was quickly resolved.
We know that problems at this location have occurred repeatedly and that clearing the waste once does not solve the underlying issue. Our councillors will continue to monitor the situation and work with the relevant council departments to find a longer-term solution.
Our councillors keep a close eye on developments affecting St Paul’s Cray and the surrounding community.
AFFORDABLE HOME-BUILDING UNDERWAY
Work is progressing on the construction of 68 new affordable homes in St Paul’s Cray, with the initial foundation works now completed at the Bellegrove development next to St Paul’s Cray Library.
The development forms part of Bromley Council’s Bromley Homes for Bromley People programme and will provide a mixture of one, two and three-bedroom properties for Bromley residents on the borough’s housing register.
The majority of the new properties will be provided as social rent housing, alongside wheelchair-accessible and supported living homes.

GREEN FLAG SUCCESS FOR HOBLINGWELL WOOD
There is some great news for one of Orpington’s much-loved green spaces, with Hoblingwell Wood and Recreation Ground receiving a prestigious Green Flag Award.
The Green Flag Award is an internationally recognised standard for well-managed parks and green spaces, recognising the work that goes into providing welcoming, well-maintained and accessible places for local communities.
For Hoblingwell, the award reflects the considerable work carried out by local volunteers alongside the idverde team, stakeholders and community partners who help maintain and improve the park.
Situated in St Paul’s Cray, Hoblingwell Wood and Recreation Ground provides an important open space for residents and is another reminder of the value of protecting and looking after the green spaces within the Orpington constituency.
