Meet the Reform UK Orpington Team
Reform UK Orpington is powered by a growing team of local residents who care about the future of our constituency and the communities within it.
Across Orpington’s seven wards, our team is working to build a stronger local organisation, campaign on the issues that matter to residents and make sure Reform has an active presence throughout the constituency.
Alongside our ward leads and elected councillors, we are fortunate to have a dedicated group of members and volunteers who regularly attend meetings, events and campaigning sessions and help us continue to grow.
We’re a relatively new team — but an ambitious one.
BEN GULVIN
Orpington Constituency Lead & Petts Wood and Knoll Lead
Having lived in Petts Wood & Knoll all his life, Ben has strong roots in the local community and brings considerable energy to the Reform UK team in Orpington.
Through his work in the transport and infrastructure sector, Ben understands the importance of reliable and efficient services and the everyday pressures facing residents.
He stood for Reform UK in Petts Wood & Knoll at the 2026 local elections and now leads the development of Reform’s organisation across the whole Orpington constituency.
Ben is passionate about improving local services, supporting businesses, making our streets safer and ensuring residents have a strong local voice.
CHELSFIELD
Julian Grainger
Julian brings considerable experience of local government to the Reform UK Orpington team, having previously served as an elected councillor.
Alongside leading Reform’s activity in Chelsfield, Julian also serves as Treasurer.
DARWIN
Barry Cook
Born in Bromley Common and living locally, Barry understands the issues facing residents across Darwin and the surrounding communities.
He has a particular interest in managing development pressures and protecting the character of the area.
FARNBOROUGH & CROFTON
Lou Bartholomew
Lou is a local resident and business owner who runs a waste and recycling company and is passionate about supporting local trade and encouraging ambition among young people.
Lou is also Vice-Chair of Reform UK Bromley Branch.
ORPINGTON
Dean Sawyer
Born and raised in Orpington, Dean has lived in the area throughout his life, raised his family locally and spent much of his working life in the town centre. He also created and manages this Reform UK Orpington website.
Dean is not a career politician but brings real-world experience, strong local knowledge and a determination to give residents a louder voice.
PETTS WOOD & KNOLL
Ben Gulvin
Our Orpington Constituency Lead Ben Gulvin also leads Reform’s activity within his home ward of Petts Wood & Knoll.
Ben is passionate about improving local services, supporting businesses, making our streets safer and ensuring residents have a strong local voice.
ST PAUL’S CRAY
Cllr Dean Miller
Dean was elected as a Reform UK councillor for St Paul’s Cray in May 2026 alongside Cllr Christopher Marlow and Cllr William Rawles.
As well as representing residents on Bromley Council, Dean leads Reform’s local organisation within St Paul’s Cray.
ST MARY CRAY

We are continuing to strengthen our organisation across St Mary Cray and will update this page once the ward lead is confirmed.
Representing St Paul’s Cray
Reform UK has three elected councillors within the Orpington constituency.
Cllr Christopher Marlow, Cllr Dean Miller and Cllr William Rawles were all elected to represent St Paul’s Cray in May 2026.
Their priorities include the everyday issues affecting residents, from roads, schools and local services to protecting the Green Belt and looking after valued community spaces such as Hoblingwell Wood, the recreation ground and the River Cray.
More Than Just the Names Above
Our local team extends well beyond our ward leads and councillors.
We have a growing group of members and volunteers who regularly give their time to attend meetings, help at events, campaign within our communities, deliver literature and support Reform UK across the constituency.
Some want to take on formal responsibilities. Others simply want to help whenever they can.
Both are equally valuable.
As Reform UK Orpington continues to grow, there will be plenty of opportunities for more local people to become involved.
