Orpington Constituency Comes Together
Wednesday 19 August 2026 – Farnborough Social Club
More than 20 members and supporters came together for our latest branch meeting and the first since we began operating as the Orpington Constituency.
The meeting was led by Orpington Lead Ben Gulvin and provided an opportunity to look back at the May local election results before turning our attention firmly towards the future.
We discussed the lessons from the campaign, the opportunities ahead and some of our plans for building a stronger Reform presence across Orpington.
Those plans include increasing our activity within the local community, holding regular events and giving residents more opportunities to engage with Reform UK.
One of the projects discussed was the creation of a dedicated Reform UK Orpington website — which, if you’re reading this, we can safely say has made it off the drawing board!
The evening was a positive start to the next chapter for Reform UK in Orpington, and we’d like to thank everyone who attended.
There is plenty more to come.

Campaigning, Meetings & Reform Events
Over the past few months, the local Reform UK team has been busy attending events, campaigning across Bromley and meeting some of the leading figures in the party.
One of the highlights came shortly before the local elections when members of our team headed to the Reform Rally at Fairfield Halls in Croydon. Sitting in the front row as prominent guest speakers shared their vision for the future of the country made for a memorable evening – before we joined Nigel Farage on stage for photographs and a spectacular finale.
In the build-up to the elections, we also enjoyed an evening in Hayes where we heard from Richard Tice and Laila Cunningham. Laila was also out campaigning locally on several occasions, joining us for a street stall in Bromley and a canvassing session in Petts Wood.
And then there was an afternoon at the pub with Nigel!
Nigel Farage visited the Bird in Hand in Bromley, giving local members the opportunity to hear from him at close quarters and take part in an informal question-and-answer session.
These events were a great part of a very busy election campaign – and there will be plenty more opportunities to get involved with Reform UK locally in the months ahead.
